Jason Kneeland

Jason Kneeland has more than 25 years of experience in senior finance roles. Prior to Anumana, he was Vice President of Finance at Acer Therapeutics, a publicly traded rare disease pharmaceutical developer, where he joined in 2017, led all financial aspects of the business and built the financial and operational infrastructure required for Acer to grow substantially, advance three programs into clinical trials, file two NDA’s, raise nearly $90 million in capital, and launch an approved product into the U.S. market for a rare metabolic disease. ‍Acer was acquired by Zevra Therapeutics in 2023, after which Jason remained to assist with integration of financial operations.

Prior to Acer, Jason held the role of Vice President of Finance at TechTarget, a publicly traded purchase intent-driven marketing and sales services company with annual revenues of $100 million, for four years where he managed a large accounting and finance team leading public reporting and implemented significant revenue recognition policies and systems, and streamlined the sales to collection process.

Previously, Jason has held finance and accounting roles in public companies of varying sizes including CVS Caremark, BearingPoint, Inc, Ascential Software Corp, and Brooktrout Inc. Jason has also worked for CFGI, the corporate finance and financial consulting firm, providing technical accounting consulting and advisory services to startups including IPO preparedness consulting.

Jason started his career with KPMG where he obtained his CPA, after graduating from Johnson & Wales University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
