Kalyanam Shivkumar, MD, PhD

Dr. Kalyanam Shivkumar, MD, Ph.D., is a distinguished expert in the field of electrophysiology, specializing in interventional cardiac electrophysiology. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, he is renowned for his contributions to the non-pharmacological management of cardiac arrhythmias. 

Dr. Shivkumar is the inaugural director of the UCLA Cardiac Arrhythmia Center & EP Programs and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Radiology at UCLA. His research is focused on mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias in humans, specifically to the role of autonomic nervous systems. He is an active member of prestigious professional organizations, including the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Heart Rhythm Society. 

Dr. Shivkumar joined Anumana’s scientific advisory board following Anumana’s acquisition of NeuTrace, where he contributed to the development of several electrophysiology applications.
